EMBER Safety Rules
WHEN TAKING PART IN OUR SKATEBOARDING LESSONS, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE MANAGEMENT OR STAFF WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY WHILST PARTAKING.
•EMBER community interest company recommends that
• everyone taking part in the skateboarding lessons should wear full protective equipment at all times including: Helmet, Knee, Elbow Pads and Wrist guards
• Skateboards must not have excessive sharp edges and must have sufficient deck grip
• All of your equipment must be in good working order with no loose parts
• No sitting on ramps
• Only one person may ride a ramp at a time
• Spectators must stay in designated areas and must not climb on any ramps or enter the recognised skating areas
• No food or drink to be consumed during lessons
• Vandalism will not be tolerated
• No shouting / screaming
• No running anywhere within the designated skatepark area
• Bullying or violence of any kind is strictly forbidden
• Do not open any of the fire doors for any reason other than in the event of a fire
• Instructors must be obeyed at all times and reserve the right to eject anyone from the lessons at their discretion
• Know your limitations when partaking as you do so at your own risk, skateboarding is an extreme sport and may result in injury or death
• Any injury to a participant should be notified to the instructor
• Do not leave valuables lying around
• Under 16’s must have a consent form signed by either a parent or guardian.
