After careful consideration, the trustees of Ember Youth have made the hard decision to wind down the charity, which has a legacy dating back to 1994. We are currently in the process of appropriately disposing of our assets in accordance with regulations and our own governing documents. We are currently identifying charities and organisations that work with young people in Tonbridge and the surrounding areas who could benefit from our physical assets and/or financial contributions.

One of the key assets we need to dispose of is a 9-seater minibus, which we acquired in 2022 with funding from Children in Need and the Youth Investment Fund. Organisations interested in receiving this asset are requested to submit a proposal detailing their work within the community and how the minibus would be used to assist with their services. The criteria for selection include proximity to Tonbridge, the number of young people impacted, and alignment of values and mission with Ember Youth.
